Portlogic Systems appoints director
Portlogic Systems Inc. (OTC BB:PGSY.OB - News), a mobile and Internet software developer and kiosk solutions provider for electronic payments, marketing delivery and community communication systems, today announced it has appointed Mr. Donald Gilpin as a Director.

"Mr. Gilpin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in retail merchandising, out-of-home and mobile marketing markets. Don is an experienced innovator, developing leading edge concepts in these areas and will assist as we begin rolling out our latest mobile software solutions."
Mr. Gilpin has over 30 years in a career in product development and sales management in the packaging and point-of-sale display industry (packaged goods and retail), which included the creation of Image Pak, a division of Smurfit Stone, a major packaging and display manufacturer. He was also responsible for the creation, development and implementation of the Shoppers Drug Mart: Sidewinder Display program, which today, is utilized by the point-of- purchase display industry in all major retail stores throughout North America. Mr. Gilpin is also the initial creator of the Intelligent Ad Merchandiser (I|AM) system.
